Easy peasy slow cooker chicken tacos! Delish! #yummyinmytummy #eatathome #realfoodrocks

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 1.25-ounce packet low-sodium taco seasoning (I make my own)
  • 1 16-ounce jar of your favorite salsa
  • For serving: tortillas or taco shells and your choice of optional toppings, such cilantro, chopped tomatoes, shredded cheese, black beans, corn, chopped avocados or guacamole, Mexican cheese, and hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in the bottom of the crock-pot.
  2. Sprinkle taco seasoning over chicken.
  3. Pour salsa on top.
  4. Cook on low (for 6-8 hours) or high (for 4 hours).
  5. Just before serving, use two forks to shred the chicken.
  6. Stir to evenly distribute salsa throughout chicken.
  7. Serve immediately with desired toppings

That is shallota flavor pasta! SO Easy!

Ingredients:

1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil (EVOO)
10 shallots, halved and thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
Salt and pepper
1 pound whole wheat spaghetti
1 cup grated parmigiano-reggiano cheese
1/3 cup chopped flat-leaf parsley (a generous handful)

Directions:

1.In a large skillet, heat the EVOO, 4 turns of the pan, over medium-low heat. Add the shallots and garlic; season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until softened and golden, 20 minutes.
2.While the shallots are cooking, bring a large pot of water to a boil, salt it, add the spaghetti and cook until al dente. Pour 3 ladlefuls of the pasta cooking water into the cooked shallots and stir. Drain the pasta and add to the shallots. Add the cheese and parsley, season with pepper and toss.thats-shallotta-flavor-spaghetti

Crockpot Orange Chicken Recipe

Total time:  3 hours 35 mins

Ingredients:

4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, thawed
¾ cup Smuckers Sweet Orange Marmalade (or your favorite organic/homemade)
¾ cup of Sweet Baby Ray’s Original BBQ Sauce {it’s SO good!}
(Or your own bbq sauce)
2 tbsp. Soy Sauce (or liquid aminos)

Instructions

Cook chicken in crockpot on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 6 hours {covered}
After 3 hours on HIGH or 6 hours on LOW, drain juices from crockpot. At this point… you can either leave the chicken breasts whole, or remove, cut into cubes, and transfer back to crockpot. Mix together bbq sauce, orange marmalade, and soy sauce. Pour mixture over chicken, and cook on high for 30 more minutes {covered}. Serve with rice and Enjoy!

Crock Pot Caesar Chicken Recipe!

Ingredients:
4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts, thawed

1 bottle Girard’s Caesar Dressing (12 oz.)

(I used a organic one from the market)

½ cup shredded Parmesan Cheese

(I use only REAL cheese, shred yourself)

Instructions:
Add Chicken Breasts to Crock Pot, then cook on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 6 hours {covered}

After 3 hours on HIGH or 6 hours on LOW, drain juices from crockpot.

Pour Caesar Dressing over chicken, then sprinkle Parmesan Cheese on top.

Cook on HIGH for 30 more minutes {covered}, or until done.

Serve with a side of Caesar Salad and ENJOY!

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 lbs raw skinless chicken tenders

1/4 tsp garlic powder

1/8 tsp oregano

1/8 tsp ground cumin

salt, to taste

16 oz roasted salsa verde (I used Archer Farms)**check labels for Whole 30 compliance
DIRECTIONS:

Season chicken with garlic powder, oregano, cumin and salt and place in the bottom of the slow cooker. Cover with salsa verde, cover and cook HIGH 2 hours. Remove chicken, shred with 2 forks. Remove 2/3 cup of liquid from the slow cooker, and discard (unless you want it over rice). Place shredded chicken back into the crock pot with remaining salsa, adjust seasoning to taste if needed and keep warm.
